  1. You'd be surprised how much asbestos we find on construction sites, almost every site we find something and it costs a fortune. The problem is much of it is in really poor condition so anyone doing decorating or DIY who comes across it is likely to inhale some dust. Although there is a worldwide ban on asbestos production, it is still common in products from China, especially Chinese cars which use lots of asbestos gaskets

  2. Well the houses still exist don't they? People are now able to buy them to live in rather than use as a business

  3.  @Nogod14  The prices were driven up by landlords who could pay more from them and still make a profit on rents. Without them forcing up prices and less demand prices will fall. Rents are so ridiculously high (£1500 per month for a average 2 bed house around here) that once people are in rented accommodation they don't have any spare money left to save for a deposit. Rents have risen way beyond inflation while wages have fallen beyond. Landlords are absolutely raking it in and still complaining.
