He didn't give a toss about the ordinary peasants who couldn't afford to pay their gas bills did he? He criticised the suggestion of windfall taxes on energy to be used to help reduce bills.

Absolutely nothing and what is his business anyway? What products or services does he sell and who is buying them?

@olivermharris_ We don't know whether it was before or after, we only have one side to the story. Maybe they wouldn't offer it immediately because they thought he'd go elsewhere. Maybe if he asked for another account within the group, they'd have just said yes.
