@yourdadsellsavon4005 Tories actually spend more than Labour, the difference is tory spending is mostly corporate subsidies while labour spending is mostly public services. It's quite easy to see this in the way government spending has increased beyond inflation while public services have been slashed. In the last year, while oil companies have been making record profits, they have recieved a total of £13.6bn in subsidies, £3.7bn additional subsidies specifically for decommissioning old oil rigs plus £10bn in tax reliefplus £15m of grants for exploration. So the average UK tax payer paid £853 each towards the companies absolutely screwing us already Labour = socialism for the working classes Tory = Socialism for corporations

Go and read the actual policies for both parties rather than just going by the bits the media chooses to present and you'll find some fairly big differences between all three main parties. Remember, we don't have any unbiased media in the UK, they will always pick and choose what to present to us and then twist it to suit their narrative
