@ebillyboi Mick Lynch is paid £120k, a lot but he's not asking for a pay rise himself so I don't really see why his pay is relevant. The RMT is not affiliated with the Labour party, not all unions are. Thats true, there was a support package for the rail industry (£11bn, not £16bn) but the workers saw none of that and a VERY large proportion of it was used to pay dividends to shareholders. Us tax payers paid for shareholders to get a tidy payout and you're upset about workers asking for a pay rise at a time when the cost of living has shot up?

@kennygregg9571 But he isn't asking for a pay rise so why is his pay relavent? Boris Johnson claims to be a working class hero and he earns far, far more. £14 million last year including his side hustles

@SassyTheSasquatch96 He isn't pretending to be working class. He's there to negotiate the union members as a senior director of a union. He's doing a superb job so far You don't have to be working class to represent the interests of the people of the working class. He's not earning six times the average uk household, it's actually 4 times the average individual. A lot but as I already said, he isn't asking for a pay rise so his pay is irrelevant

Why are you blaming the workers and not the rail companies who are making record profits which are subsidised by our taxes? They could stop the strikes immediately if they just made a reasonable offer

He knows just the accusation will be enough to get his audience all angried up

@glazierblue573 It's the media which is owned by Murdoch who are trying (and failing) to take him down. Murdoch will do anything to save the tories
