  1.  @benjy6358  nope. Both maintained. They get oil pressure problems. An early death is common with the VR4 engine.

  2. I had a Mitsubishi VR4. That needed no abuse to blow up two engines.

  3.  @benjy6358  in 25 years of driving and car ownership it's the only car I've had serious mechanical problems with. I've even managed to run supercharged Jags for years with no problems.
