@MrDwright550 All they did was tell him he had to move to a standard Natwest bank account. He no longer qualified for the account he had so they offered him another one. Whats wrong with that? If the bank had done anything worn Farage would be suing them, he has past for for doing so. If Farage is telling the truth he has a very good case against them and the potential for a decent payout and a public apology. Lets see him put his money where his mouth is, then I'll believe him

The regulation which ensures everyone has a right to a bank account already exists BUT it's an EU regulation so it's one of the EU regulations that Farage want's scrapped. A touch ironic

He's backed himself in to a corner here. Farage will have to sue Coutts or face his supporters forever asking why he didn't. If he's telling the truth, then he has a solid case against them

@MrDwright550 Farage had been offered a standard Natwest account so it's not like they were leaving him without an account. There is actually a regulation which guarantees every adult the right to a bank account, ironically, it's one of the retained EU regulations which Farage is campaigning to have scrapped. Maybe he should reconsider his calls to scrap all EU regulations without a case by case review
