I was never a fan of McGregor's - but I still have 1 billion times more respect for him than I have for any of Ireland's political class.

I was once all on board with the climate change movement until I saw what they did to David Bellamy (who was the very first target of modern cancel culture). After that I knew there was something else going on. For those too young to remember Bellamy he was a very popular and beloved British wildlife presenter who was suddenly cancelled and ostracised everywhere overnight because he was the first big name to voice scepticism about the global warming movement. It was a long time ago now but it still sickens me.

The home of free speech is finding it difficult to call a murder a murder.

Article 6 of UNESCO's Bioethics and Human Rights Act states that it is against International Law to force or coerce anyone to take a v$££ine against their will. This would be illegal.

Eamon is aimin' his arrows at Schofield. Got to admire Holmes integrity.
386
Brendan O'Neill has a very good point: the people who promoted and demanded this tyranny should never be forgotten or allowed to forget what they caused.
296
There hasn't been a riot in Ireland for over 40 years: that alone shows how civil and patient the Irish have been despite everything the political class has been throwing at them. Taken completely for granted. The shady police commissioner who lost a confidence vote in his own organisation (98%) sees this as an opportunity to attack free speech across the board.

Thank you for the psychologist's reaction to the protests. Now could we have a psychiatrist's assessment of the mental state of the politicians who caused this lockdown? Thank you
247
If the trucks stop we all stop, whether True-dope or his champagne socialist elite realise it. Massive respect to the truckers.
245
Well done to Darren Grimes and the lady (I don't know her name) for actually speaking common sense.

And for anyone who thinks privatising the NHS is a good idea, I could tell you about the final months of my father's life - he paid a fortune in health insurance his entire life only to be slowly butchered in a private hospital by incompetent and disinterested doctors. The problem with the NHS is the bloated, bureaucratic management, nothing else.
149
"We're only 2 compulsory medical injections away from total freedom". Lol. And ladies and gentlemen - let this be a lesson of what happens when you happily hand your freedoms over to a gang of politicians and their corporate friends "just for 2 weeks". Remember this for the next time they try it.

Eamon Holmes is great. He once referred to a co-host as 'unbearable' - and outraged ITV bosses hauled him up and gave him a jolly good talking to.
119
Gen Z, to their great credit, are not going to be BS'd into another pointless war. I call that a strong link - and the rest of us agree with them.
103
No doubt police will be immediately investigating social media for any mean tweets that could have inspired the attacker.
97
@xx3920 Exactly. That's why they were so aggressive and downright cruel about it. They knew that he knew what he was saying. By the way: I don't know if you knew this but Bellamy said himself that in private Richard Attenborough told him that he agreed with him about the whole global warming thing. He said he never understood why Attenborough didn't say so in public. I completely agree with you about Attenborough and, yes, I remember what they did to Johnny Ball, too.
92
If no-one complies they won't have the manpower or means to enforce it. Anyone who does comply, especially after all the facts and figures are now finally being admitted, is beyond help.
91
This was not a labour landslide, it was a tory mudslide: big difference. Voting system is archaic: Labour 9.7 million, Reform 4 million but just 5 seats. We're behind you, Richard.
86
I wouldn't call it 'wishy washy' - they were very zealous during the I0ckd0wn and seemed to be enjoying it all. They're political, not wishy washy.
86
That was a great line by Konstantin: and I could tell by the look on that bbc presenter's face that he was left konstinpated.
85
The last time the BBC showed any small measure of impartiality was when Greg Dyke was in charge: he was one of few people speaking out against the false claims of Iraq's WMDs: he was put under huge pressure to resign and the (labour) govt then went on to bring the bbc to it's knees: it has been nothing more than a mouthpiece ever since. And Martin bell did himself no favours at all here.
84
He didn't just snatch it (theft) he flung it to the ground (criminal damage).
69
It depends on the perspective: for people who are concerned about the health and wellbeing of others they have been an utter failure - but for the tinpot tyrants of our political class they have proven to be a remarkable success.
65
Orwell's '1984' wasn't a novel - it was a warning dressed up as a novel: he was a member of the fabian society so he was well clued up on the weird plans and games that the tapeworm elite have. P.S. Thank you, Neil: I've always had a lot of respect for you and you're the only reason I even stop by to watch any of GB News now: too disgusted with the rest of them over the Ukraine lie.
62
And let's not forget the zeal and relish shown by the police in all this. They really seemed to be enjoying themselves.
60
I followed that conflict from the very beginning. Turner knows exactly what she's talking about, the other three don't or are being deliberately deceptive.
60
Apparently the policeman who was stabbed in the neck prevented a member of the public from tackling the attacker - and that's when the attacker then stabbed the officer.
59
Exactly. They want this war so badly - let them and their children and grandchildren go. The WW2 generation had something to fight for. We don't.
56
I wouldn't hold my breath about Yorkshire Police doing much about it: they recruited her and trained her to behave that way. best thing to do is shame them publicly and for family to sue her individually.
55
Neil Oliver - the only GB News commentator I still have respect for now - the rest of them have been shouting in a cold war echo chamber along with the rest of the media, which has been hugely disappointing. Thank you, Neil. Huge respect to you. Thank you.
55
Holiday season in the Algarve - it happens every year: detectives find another excuse around May/June to visit the beach resort for a couple of weeks on full pay. Watch out for May/June next year - the exact same thing will happen again.
53
Lol Russia attacked the NHS? Yeah, sure. Our own politicians have been doing that for decades.
52
This is really serious. Rain & wind in Britain in late Autumn has never been seen before: I'm glad to see GB News join the rest of the main channels to warn us that life as we know it could end by next Tuesday at approximately 4 0'Clock pm (3 O'Clock if you're not on daylight savings time). Good luck everyone!
52
Huge admiration for David Davis: he's remained consistent in his public opposition to government over reach throughout the years. It's a pity he never became Tory leader, he did put his name forward for the position many years ago.
50
I remember when I first moved to London being outraged at how many ordinary, law abiding people couldn't stand the police or had no respect for them: after living in London a good 5 years I could understand why. This, right here, is one perfect example.
50
The entire cabinet should take the lead.
46
I agree with everything, but when the words 'corrupt tyrant' we're used I have to wonder where he's been living for the last 2 years when I think about what our own governments have been doing.
44
@KendalMike Maybe so. I'm not so convinced they're under pressure. GB News keep repeating the claim that Bridgen compared the vaccine to the holocaust, even 'though they keep being told that this is untrue: Bridgen simply repeated a comment that was made to him by a doctor - a Jewish doctor, by the way.
41
Good to see GB News attempt to dip into truth again: give more people like Peter a platform to speak about what's really going on in Ukraine and I may subscribe again. Until then I'll just dip in every now and again to see what Neil Oliver has to say.
41
P.S. As for boris birthday: it should have been obvious from the very beginning that none of them were following any of the rules that they imposed on the rest of us.
40
As attempted smears go that was very low, even by British media standards. I'm glad to see there's a Reform candidate in my Borough - and I'll be voting for him.
39
Yep. I lost a lot of respect for people whom I thought knew better in the last 2 years.
39
It was intended to impact the lives of normal people - and until normal people realise that all three parties are going to keep on squeezing them, I don't see much changing.
38
By Hallowe'en, which is probably more appropriate, given the horror show that labour is.
38
Andrew Bridgen is also the man who fought hard to bring justice for all those post office workers who's lives were destroyed after being falsely accused of fraud because of a glitch in the Post Office's IT system. Some were sent to prison, others ended themselves and the one person who fought for them was Bridgen: Finally last year the Post Office publicly admitted it's fault.
37
It's amazing how much of a scam people can pull by just declaring their own goodness. In all honesty I have little sympathy for those who gave them that money: they explain on their now website exactly what they are but people refuse to see it and still give money to these criminals. Bon appetite, mugs. And kudos to amazon for sanctioning them.
37
"People have been pushed too far after years of patiently asking their politicians to stop". There, I've fixed your title for you. The Irish have patiently and quietly taken a lot for a very long time.
36
Did you have anything to say about her laughing at male suicide? Nothing? How very interesting.
36
I didn't know that. In that case the officer brought that on himself.
36
There was a time when most journalists would rather research and interview instead of acting as glorified gossip columnists. Thank God we at least have Tucker Carlson who is still willing to do that job.
