  17. Russia is self sufficient. The sanctions won't affect them - but the counter sanctions will affect us because we are not. And I would strongly urge people to look into the recent history of that country starting from 2014 to understand why this is happening now: it's not as cut and dried as the overwhelming majority of us (including well paid journalists) seem to be determined to believe.

I know a little about the recent history of Ukraine and I'm hugely disappointed in GB News, disgusted in fact, that they have followed the narrative of the rest of the msm on this without seemingly even looking at why this has happened and what is really happening. GB News also started muting my comments recently when I tried to explain what is going on there and why. I've now unsubscribed from this channel. They organised and stopped Dennis O'Brein from taking control of Ireland's water supply a few years back (even 'though the Irish police were doing his enforcement work for him) and it's been the working class Irish who have been marching and protesting about this problem.
