  2.  @ConsciousExpression  Russia never had any intention of touching Finland or Sweden. In fact in 2014 when Donetsk and Luhansk (East Ukraine) asked Russia if they could join the federation, Russia refused. Now - in 2014 the elected govt of Ukraine was overthrown with the help of the US State dept (which spent $5bn on regime change there): the Right Sector government was installed (you may want to do some research on those characters) and shortly afterwards attacks against East Ukraine (which is mainly ethnic Russian) began. This conflict is between East ad West Ukraine, not Russia and Ukraine. I'll bet you didn't even know that. The Ukraine army has been attacking East Ukraine for 8 years now. In February this year they intensified their shelling against the East while troops amassed on the border - this time East Ukraine had had enough: they mobilised and invited Russia in to help them push back the Ukraine army. This is what happened and you'll never hear the truth listening to the bbc - but you should know that by now.
