In all honesty The Ukraine govt has been attacking (mainly Ethnic Russian) East Ukraine for many years now, despite numerous attempts by the Russians to end this diplomatically: last week Ukraine forces began shelling East Ukraine and the Russians and east Ukrainians finally had enough and they reacted. That's all that happened. But it's now being resolved, they've started negotiations to end hostilities and it'll be over soon. Just remember - this is the same media and political class that told us 24/7 that saddam hussein had weapons of mass destruction and he was going to wipe us out in 45 minutes. Half a million Iraqis were slaughtered in the military action that followed and we found out afterwards that they were all lying to us.

Anyone who listens to our political and media class will be in a state of perpetual fear until the day they die: when this passes (and it will pass) there will be another "crisis" brought to us by the same people who brought Iraq's weapons of mass destruction.
