Wow. It's almost like Iraq's weapons of mass destruction all over again....but in Russia this time - and I definitely believe it this time, too.

@gwendolinkirkegaard1812 Can't face reality and still listening to the same liars who slaughtered a million people in Iraq and nothing whatsoever to say about the journalists I had mentioned. You're beyond hope.

True. It's almost like Iraq's weapons of mass destruction all over again....but in Russia this time - and I definitely believe our politicians and media, too. They would never lie to us just to attack a country and bring about regime change. No sir. Never. I'm glad I trust our politicians and believe everything they say.

@gwendolinkirkegaard1812 Lol - so the fact that known liars are talking about WMDs doesn't ring a red bell with you at all? That says a huge amount. As for the treatment of journalists? How are things looking for Julian Assange right now? Luckily Edward Snowden escaped the same fate because Russia gave him a safe haven. Then there was Bradley Manning who was dropped in a hole without charges and tortured by the US. More recently you have, an award winning journalist James Gordon Meek who literally disappeared in April after being raided by the FBI because of an investigation he was doing into the Biden Whitehouse' dealings in Afghanistan. No-one has heard from him since.

@gwendolinkirkegaard1812 I read just fine - but the cliches that come from people like you are so repetitive without one single original thought that they are no different to listening to a broken record. As for my stance? I did my own research - I know that's not a familiar concept to you: I learned that the conflict is between West and East Ukraine - it began in 2014 with the violent overthrow of the elected Ukraine govt, with the help of $5bn from the US State dept. I know that the new government began mountain attacks on ethnic Russians soon afterwards which culminated in the massacre at the Union building and which led to the war in East Ukraine, which East Ukraine won but and then Putin persuaded East Ukraine to agree a peace deal with Kiev. The East honoured it, Kiev carried on attacking despite 8 years of diplomatic attempts by Russia to get them to honour the Minsk agreement. I know that in Feb this year Kiev intensified shelling of East Ukraine and began amassing on the border for an invasion:. This time East Ukraine and Russia had had enough and they reacted. I read just fine - and you'd know the truth about that conflict if you were capable of reading, too.

@gwendolinkirkegaard1812 "Spitting Russian Propaganda". Change the record and the cliche and learn how to do your own research. I don't even watch Russian channels. Dear oh dear.
