It is a baby - it's a human being - a living thing: whether your own personal morality is willing to accept that or not. Your "what kind of a life can an undesired child have?" is stomach churning. Abstain or use protection - it's really not that difficult. You're a bunch of cells, too - what's to stop someone with an even darker morality than you have to decide that you don't fit the definition of a "desired" life - because we are already going down that route, whether you realise it or not. At any rate I don't know what you're complaining about: you got what you wanted.

I don't understand why so many women think killing an unborn child is a women's rights issue. Its a human rights issue. But the attitude towards the unborn is unbelievable.

@nox8730 I knew you understood the "smh" thing - and I notice, even when I was being polite about it you still have a bad attitude. I'm going to deal with your twisted points one by one. An unborn child IS a person and IS a human. Your assertion that the "administration" decides when a human is not a human is a very dark path to go down. In your opinion a person is a person only when the government decides so. That is one of the least empowering and weakest things I have ever heard from someone who is supposedly feeling empowered by all this. When governments decide who is and who isn't a person, you are on very bad path. We leaned this from history. Oh. sorry, Some of us learned this from history. And if you think the French government isn't capable of expanding its definition of what is, and what isn't, a worthy life, you are very mistaken. If having a child is such a heavy burden, there are two solutions. Abstain or use contraception. I understand from what you wrote about your own life, that you would not have accepted the chance to be born, but that is not a reason to wish that on others who don't have that choice: assuming that all kids don't want to be born, is a very big assumption. Nothing is more dangerous and egotistical that assuming that one section of humanity can be discarded: no doubt the citizens of France will be learning that in the coming years: government and government types regard everyone as expendable: France has embraced this constitutionally for the first time: good luck with that. I would repeat again: abstention or contraception is a very simple solution that doesn't involve killing and, it would seem, none of you want to accept that, but you all have your own reasons for that I suppose. Your assumption that people who have my point of view don't care about people is very far off the mark. We care about all people, including the unborn: it is you who has a massive compassion problem: again I would repeat: you all have access to all forms of contraception. I know you're happy about it, and that's what makes this so stomach churning: just how many people are happy about it. I could see the delight on their faces as if they won something. Abortion isn't a "woman's rights" issue - its a human rights issue - but who cares about a baby who can't scream when its being torn to shreds, eh? People who have no compassion demanding it from others. I see you've inserted your anger towards God into this, too. If those are your reasons for being so happy about abortion, that's your prerogative, I guess. Good luck on helping the French government introduce eugenics into your constitution with a big smile on your faces. Let's hope, for France's sake, that it isn't used against the rest of you at some stage.

Did you have the same attitude towards bodily autonomy when it came to an experimental vaccine and those who had serious concerns about it during the covid fiasco, or does this only apply to women having abortions? There are those of us who have compassion for all human beings and who are speaking as human beings. That gives us the right. Plus, of course, I presume France has various methods of contraception, no, or has bodily autonomy extended to killing children as a form of contraception?

@tatini7591 Yes. It's heart wrenching. But the absolute denigration of what a human life is to these people. They don't get it. But there is one thing that nobody is telling them: the procedure itself can lead to the womb being pierced - and this can prevent a women from ever conceiving again. They also don't realise that they are being used for political purposes and long term goals that intend to go further than just the killing of the unborn. Thanks for the reply.

Also - if you really did believe what you were saying about bodily autonomy, you would be saying women who don't want children should really take control of their bodily autonomy and take steps not to get pregnant in the first place.

Then squealing to the government to endorse their unwillingness to take control of their own lives. Anyone who has control over themselves does not go squealing to the government to control everything for them. No self control - from any angle. @ShowMeSomething1 Dr. Ron Paul once described walking past a room where an abortion was being carried out as a junior doctor. He described how he was traumatised by the sound of the aborted child crying from inside the bucket while the medical staff pretended they couldn't hear anything. After a while the crying fell silent as the child died with literally nothing and no-one to comfort him/her in their final moments. As I said - you will say anything to justify murder that you, specifically, approve of.

By thew way: don't think that this is going to stop with the killing of the unborn: what you just witnessed is the first major step towards eugenics in France, crept in under the radar under the guise of a "women's rights" issue. There are those in the political class who don't just see the unborn as "unwanted" - as you lot in France are going to find out within the next two decades. Bon apetit (pardon my French).
