Don't forget that this is the same media that told us the taliban were about to be defeated in Afghanistan just a few months ago - and also the same media that told us saddam hussein had weapons of mass destruction. I've been following this conflict (which is between East & West Ukraine, not between Russia and Ukraine) since 2014 and you are not being told the truth of what's happening there.

@Anastasiya Gorodetska It is heart wrenching to see what all innocent Ukrainians (from both sides) are enduring because of this: but this channel, and the rest of the channels over here in the west that Russia attacked Ukraine, and they are using it as moral cover to prolong that war and the suffering of all the people there. I'm just calling them out out their lies. These news channels don't give a damn about any of the Ukrainian people, only in their use as a weapon. I hope there will be peace there soon despite the best efforts of our governments and media over here but this began when the Ukraine army started attacking Donbass and continued attacking for 8 years. 8 years is a long time to patiently ask them to stop.

@Anastasiya Gorodetska I don't even watch Russian news, or listen to any Russian media. I follow western analysts and reporters who are not affiliated to either side or any news organisation - but who analyse open source information on either side - I also follow journalists who have been on the ground, in the frontline, since 2014 reporting on what is straight infront of them.

@Anastasiya Gorodetska You make a number of fair points - and I understand what you're saying: I think we can both agree that innocent Ukrainians on both sides are suffering and I hope it ends soon. My understanding was that the azov carried out Bucha - and I wasn't aware of the other incidents that you mentioned so I'm going to find out more. Thank you - and keep safe. I, like you, hope this ends soon.

@Anastasiya Gorodetska You're welcome. You've certainly mentioned a few things that I want to look further into now. I know what you mean about people making ignorant comments when they hear where you're from: I grew up in Ireland during the troubles (a conflict that wasn't all that different to what's happening in Ukraine now) and would sometimes (back in those days) get comments similar to the ones you're talking about. That type of ignorance is very annoying. Thanks for sharing things from your perspective. Al the best and good luck.
