@thomasseiter9841 Even family. I've never seen anything like it except, maybe the very early days of the Khmer Rouge or the accounts of the Salem witch hunts. To me it felt like being in an episode of the Twilight Zone.

@thomasseiter9841 I tend to agree: their viciousness towards anyone who was sceptical was shameful. I lost count of the amount of names I was called by people who I was trying to warn (help). They were like modern day witch hunters.

I didn't know that. But I know that Andrew Bridgen (one of the few good Tory MP's left) gave a speech in Parliament detailing all the actual facts and figures - and the chamber emptied out for his speech. By the way: he was expelled from the tory party after that speech.

Me, too. That was the most shocking thing about all this - especially coming from people who I genuinely thought knew better.

@darrininverarity4297 Many caved, some didn't. I saw an interview recently in which a clinical psychologist explained the psychology of why it happened - it had a lot to do with people feeling less connected and needing to belong. Fascinating interview that explained a lot but, in my opinion, didn't excuse it. The behaviour of those who caved towards those who didn't was despicable and unforgivable.

That's the most unforgivable thing about all this: that 'ordinary' people turned into n@zis overnight and shamed, bullied, ostracised and tried to ruin anyone around them who voiced scepticism.

@ironmaidyn Hello, there. Interestingly the interview I was thinking about doesn't seem to be there anymore - but there are a number of his other interviews still up on youtube. His name is Dr. Mattias Desmet and the subject is 'Mass Formation Psychosis'. You'' find what you need there, he seems to have done a lot of interviews.
