Yep: they are literally being used by Ukraine commanders as a shield. Also ex-special forces and marines are urging others not to go over. Apparently they're only used to fighting against combatants with small arms and rocket launchers - but Russia has a full standing army with all the back up that follows, including air power and navy.

TBH I know this sounds harsh but they went over there to kill people. I've been following this conflict since 2014 and East Ukraine has been through enough without these idiots running over there to pile more misery on that region. I feel a certain amount of sympathy for them but not much, really.

@fennadikketetten1990 Exactly. They were crazy going over there. I've been following the Ukraine conflict since 2014 and if these guys had any idea who and what they are fighting for they'd never be able to live it down.

Thanks for your insight. I've been following the Ukraine conflict since 2014 and am well familiar with the lies and dirty tricks that have been going on there since then and I despair of the lies that we are being fed to us and especially by people who I thought were better than that. I remember thinking what the reaction of these guys' would be once they realise who they're fighting for. There will be many videos of these guys: at some stage the Ukraine army will get tired of them and just kill a bunch of them and it'll be blamed on the Russians or the Donetsk/Luhansk forces by our despicable msm.
