  3. I recently read a book about the penal laws in Ireland and they were literally a combination of everything that had happened to every minority in the world, compacted into Ireland. Even in the years between 1650 and 1660 a quarter of a million Irish men, women and children were sold to slave ships bound for the Caribbean. There was even a 'trail of tears' to Connaught. Anyone who says the Irish have white privilege does not belong in office, whether she genuinely thinks that, or is being paid to say it. She is using her privilege to smear that country.
