@jim6534 Not true. In 2014 the US State Dept spent $5bn overthrowing the democratically elected government of Ukraine and installing the Right Sector headed by Petro Poroshenko. Soon afterwards the Ukraine army began attacking mainly ethnic Russian East Ukraine: these attacks escalated to massacres and the war in East Ukraine began. A peace deal was signed (Minsk) but the Ukraine army kept attacking East Ukraine and has been doing so for 8 years, despite numerous diplomatic attempts by Russia to stop it. One month ago 60,000 Ukraine troops amassed on the border to East Ukraine and began intense shelling of that region. East Ukraine finally reacted and mobilised with the help of Russia. These facts are all a matter of record, however simply you want to look at things. This conflict has always been between East and West Ukraine - All you have to do is your own research, but I know you won't - you prefer to be spoon fed. Good luck to you.

I agree completely. Our politicians and media locked us down for 2 years, lied and villified anyone who was skeptical of the vaxx, drove healthcare staff out of their careers, and it was revealed recently they were lying about it all: then the same liars come out and use the Iraq WMD template against Russia. I still can't fathom how anyone even believes them: there are very few people left who I have any respect for, now.

@jim6534 You're a liar. Firstly there were 2 presidents in 2014. The ELECTED president who was overthrown and then the unelected president who was installed. The fact that you call the elected one a puppet and have nothing to say about the unelected one speaks volumes. Also, looking at your inclusion of emojis - you may think the slaughter of thousands of people is funny - the rest of us don't - and that speaks volumes about you.

@stevenseagull9683 That's a fair point. TBH I get the impression he knows a lot more than he's pretending. It's galling, really. I've been following this conflict for years: the people of East Ukraine have suffered massively in the last 8 years whilst they (and Russia) patiently tried to prevent it all from escalating. They've faced huge provocation and then when they finally reacted we have ghouls like Jim and his ilk, never tired of other peoples' blood being spilled and convincing themselves that victims of this have been the perpetrators.
