It's the professional duty of politicians to work for the public and speak the truth but we haven't seen any of that, have we Mr Jabbit?!
122
Its not a fiery feud. Starmer decided he wants to ban free speech, Musk called him out with creative, funny and accurate tweets & memes. Starmer is now livid and very upset.

I'm traumatised by this shocking footage of a push, a jostle and a swing. Please put trigger warnings on clips like these.
58
True. Also the sanctions war against Russia (that backfired) whilst lying about what's really going on in Ukraine.
52
Little ritchie needs to realise that smoking is the least of the country's worries right now.
49
True - and don't forget that Niall Ferguson (the 'scientist' who told the govt to lock down) was also breaking the rules so that he could sleep with another man's wife. They were all breaking the rules they imposed on the rest of us. I'm hoping this will be a valuable lesson to never hand freedoms over to a gang of politicians and their friends.
40
The Evening Standard - more like The Falling Standard.
31
Lol - this actually reminds me of the scene from Fawlty Towers where Basil attacked his car with a tree branch. Lol - Met Chief Fawlty.
26
"Extremism is anything we, or our lobbyists, don't agree with." Michael Gove.
25
I never knew Stonehenge was responsible for global warming but I guess we learn a new thing everyday. Someone also told me that standing in front of cars all day seems to cause trees to regrow in the rainforest. I wasn't aware of that, either. Amazing what we can learn from these people.
22
British judges do this all the time. They live in a bubble. They should be charged but it's good they've been named.
22
Good point. But there again the entire political class has been breaking all the rules that they've been imposing on the rest of us anyway.
18
Exactly. And this is why the public was insane to hand it's freedoms over to a gang of politicians and their friends in the first place. Hopefully there will be a valuable lesson in this when it's all over.
17
A lawsuit was submitted recently against hancock, valance, whitty and ferguson with evidence that they stood to gain personally from a mass vaccine roll out.
17
Of course there were going to be consequences: the Irish political class has been in a bubble for so long that I guess it never occurred to them that Israel would lash out. I'm not on Israel's side in that conflict but I don't know why the deputy pm is surprised by this reaction.
16
The evening "standard" - a paper so insignificant it has to be given out free at tube stations.
15
Oh Noooooooo please no. Waves and wind....in Autumn.....in England. Say it isn't so!!!! Thank you, Waning Standard: if it wasn't for you we'd be unaware of these threats to our very existence.
15
Jobs for the boys and girls.
14
Another dangerous liar.
14
As I understand it he was given life, with a minimum of 10 years - which means its likely he'll be out in 10 - in essence the judge, for whatever reason of his own, gave this extremely dangerous criminal 10 years.
14
Sadiq Khant - Laurence Can!
11
Yes - let's all go into lockdown again and watch our loved ones die in isolation while boris and his pals party it up with family, friends and other peoples' wives.
10
It makes no difference whatsoever: we're never voting tory again - or labour.
10
Kier Stasi has a very shady record regarding the application of justice.
10
What terrorist organisation?
9
He despises the nation way too much to care about that. But at least he's finally getting his comeuppance - thrown under the bus with his marriage in tatters.
9
Well, I have better news than that: he is currently facing private prosecution with evidence that he stood to gain personally from a mass vaccine roll out: valance, whitty and ferguson are also defendents in the same lawsuit.
8
They were aware. What a surprise....to no-one whatsoever.
7
Didn't just try to stop him - assaulted him too.
7
Your lying, free rag should be called 'The Failing Standard'.
7
Great to see him back in Parliament. That echo chamber (on all sides) has grown too accustomed to shutting out or expelling those it doesn't want to listen to.
7
Exactly. Exactly. Very well said.
6
Why would you care, Standard? You lot were all for it when they were being killed by bombs and bullets. Now because its water, suddenly its a tragedy?
6
Useless isn't the only thing he was f*cking lol. joking aside he is currently facing private prosecution with evidence that he stood to gain personally from a mass vaccine roll out: valance, whitty and ferguson are also being prosecuted in the same lawsuit.
6
Very true. Those who knew where this would go were warning what would happen and they were attacked, shamed, ridiculed, called granny killers and ostracised. Its very difficult for me to feel any sympathy for those who brought this on themselves whilst abusing those who were trying to help them.
6
LOL.
6
Yep - the jimmy savile channel would be all over that.
5
Lol - this guy talking about failure.
5
He criticised the government, citing war crimes in Gaza - then suddenly he finds himself in Club Assange. Amazing coincidence. Its such a huge pity that I don't even expect the media to get to the truth of the claims.
5
True - and don't forget the scientist who told the government to lockdown, Nial Ferguson, was also breaking those very rules so he could sleep with another man's wife.
5
I think it's more that he's served his purpose and is now being thrown under the bus - but they are always operating anyway with distractions. Hancock is just realising now that he's not untouchable now that he's of no further use and unfortunately for him his marriage is in tatters with it.
5
@biggusdickkus2956 Thank you for your contribution: your name suits you.
4
Our worthless police "service" and judiciary gave them that belief.
4
The UK political class makes an absolute fortune every single year from the taxes that they squeeze out of the working population. From there they decided what they're going to squander it on - and they say they don't have any money when it comes to anything they don't want to do.
4
@arcanelore0 BBC bot?
4
Exactly.
4
@angrytedtalks Covid has a recovery of 99.7%. A lawsuit was also filed recently with evidence that hancock, valance, whitty and ferguson stood to gain personally from a mass vaccine rollout: but if you choose to believe corrupt career politicians go right ahead.
4
Everything we need to know can be found in George Orwell's 1984.
4
The worst thing about it is there isn't even a good reason. I've been following the Ukraine conflict since 2014. It began with a violent overthrow of the elected government with US money and UK connivance: they then used the replacement government as a proxy to provoke Russia into a conflict. Its the same old "Iraq WMD" lie with a few adjustments and they are getting the media to lie on their behalf.
3
@batintheattic7293 No-one. I was being sarcastic about Just Stop Oil's weird actions.
