  3.  @MidlifeCrisisJoe  True. Eustace Mullins was once on McCarthy's team - he talked about how he was removed and replaced by Roy Cohn: shortly afterwards things began to unravel. TBH I believe Roy Cohn was put there to subvert and destroy the McCarthy hearings and McCarthy himself. Sure - Cohn was hated himself but he didn't care: just like Tony Blair is hated in Britain, but he doesn't't care - he carried out the deep state's bidding and that's all he cared about.
