  1. The funniest thing about it was that I saw the police being interviewed years later about the case and they were still livid that no-one gave up the killers. I was amazed that they even had the motivation to be livid but there we go.

  4. I don't think the police slept - it sounds to me like there was some sort of relationship between him and senior officers: could be he was an informant, or maybe he and those cops shared some sort of common criminal pastime.

  6.  @krald8421  True - my opinion is that he had something going on with the cops. It's very unusual that they were so angry about his passing: he was clearly supplying them with something.
