  1. True - I remember seeing a case where a guy jumped from a height like that into water and the impact broke his back. She's very lucky she wasn't knocked unconscious in the fall: a punctured lung and broken ribs in a body of water is not a good situation to be in.

  3. People have ended up with broken backs from a high fall into water like that. And having a punctured lung and broken ribs whilst trying to stay afloat sounds pretty frightening.
