I can fathom it: they are corrupt cowards and there must be something seriously wrong from top to bottom that those heavily armed officers can stand there for an hour listenign to children being slaughtered, and the only arrests they make are of parents trying to do their job for them. Something seriously wrong there.

  3.  @guillermoelnino  I heard a claim that they were ordered to stand down, but haven't heard that substantiated. I have heard strong claims also that the DA or Mayor is trying to frustrate the investigation into what happened.

  4.  @sharonthompson8061  Just about everything from that day seems like grounds for both civil law suits and criminal prosecutions. Maybe on the grounds of the officers assisting in the commission of a crime, also false imprisonment and assault. That's my interpretation, anyway. The officers were also seriously criminally negligent: also I believe the Mayor was involved in a lot of what happened and is trying to hush it all up.

  6. The Uvalde police are harassing and threatening anyone who speaks out: imagine standing outside as a policeman allowing a killer to slaughter his way through a school, and then attacking, arresting and harassing and then threatening any civilian who tried to save the children.
