  1. She handed a revolver with live rounds over to an actor. What you don't understand is that even the most basic gun handling and training demands every single time you even pick up a gun, you check to see what's in the chamber first - and when you are finished you check again - and even that is basic gun safety. A previous production was halted because she handed a gun that had grit in the barrel (from being in the sand) to an 11 year old actress. If 14 years of experience has brought her to this level she's clearly not up to the job.

  2. True. I had heard that the gun was being used for target practice beforehand which I find incredible. The armourer is the 24 year old daughter of a veteran Hollywood armourer: there had been safety issues with her before, with one production having been temporarily halted over gun safety.
