  3. Lol - they VOTED for these taxes: what did they expect? They actually asked the city to shake them down and are angry that they're being shook down some more. Serves them all right lol.

  4. I feel a certain amount of sympathy, but I've seen people targetted, hunted down and attacked by these mobs while portland police stand there and do nothing: so I don't know what's going on there.

In the last week armed gangs have been holding traffic up and pointing guns at drivers, they even smashed a few vehicles and hospitalised an elderly marine: Portland "police" (if they still deserve the name) were nowhere to be seen. Listening to the comments of the city commissioner I can see why.
