  2. Well I almost feel bad for him if any historian tells him that most African slaves were sold to white slavers by opposing African tribes. And he could really put him in a state of cognitive dissonance if he informed him that between 1650 and 1660 alone a quarter of a million Irish men, women and children were sold to slave ships bound for the Caribbean by the British. I don't feel he's ready yet to even hear about the trade in black African slaves that is going on right now in Libya.
