  1. Hopefully this will open peoples' eyes to all well known intellectuals, not just Sam Harris, and not to hold them up as all knowing. For instance there was a free speech panel event back in 2017 which Faith Goldy was banned from appearing on, because of her association with someone who is regarded as Alt right. I myself was shocked at the members of that panel for doing that as they are all very well known free speech advocates. So let's be cautious of idolising all intellectuals, not just Mr Harris.
