  1. Modern movies have sucked for quite a number of years now: many of them remakes, nearly all of them full of "deep", vacuous 'social justice' messages. I was watching a film the other night from 1957 - 'Night of the Demon': great movie, great story, very well written and very well made - and that's all I look for in a film.
