Ukraine forces had been attacking and shelling East Ukraine since 2014. In Feb 2022 Ukraine forces intensified shelling and began amassing on the border to East Ukraine. It was clear what was coming. Donbas (East Ukraine) mobilised and asked Russia to send forces into East Ukraine to help them end this once and for all - this time Russia agreed. That's what happened. if you don't believe me look into ti for yourself. Up till now you've been listening to the same people who told you Iraq had WMDs.

@dogeeeeeee574 Everything I wrote here is factual. Saying "just because" isn't an argument. Its incredible that you missed my point about them being shelled and attacked since 2014. Look into it for yourself. As for your unfortunate "fascist" remark. While you're doing you're research into what really happened there, you may want to check out the history of the Banderites who are currently in control of Ukraine's government. You're in for a shock if you even bother to find out any of these things for yourself.

@davidste60 You may want to do some research on what happened that caused Donbas to take up arms - and it wasn't to "separate". I'll give you a hint: it all culminated in the massacre of ethnic Russians in the Union Building in Odessa. Do some research on that. It wasn't the only incident, but it was the worst and served as the catalyst for Donbas mobilising with Russia's help and Crimea voting to re-join the Russian Federation. I look forward to you doing some research.
