  1. Recently the chief commissioner faced a 97% vote of No Confidence from the rank and file of the Gardai (the Irish police) but still he refuses to step down. He's a political stooge and nothing more.

  2. The main stream media has acted as the press office for the political class for a very long time now. Its shocking to me that there is even anyone watching them anymore: they've helped wreak devastation everywhere. Also the Chief Commissioner of the Irish police faced a no confidence vote of 97% recently, but it made no difference to him. Yesterday an Algerian man stabbed 2 women and 3 children. That incident was the catalyst for the riots last night. Up till then the Irish had been remarkably patient with successive governments squeezing them over the years.

  3.  @Johnnyquid20  The last chief before him was an LGTBQ hire and her corruption was so bad that she even had to resign - so I can barely even imagine how corrupt she must have been.
