  2. Let's not underestimate the huge role that media and politicians played in all this. Telling black people that they were being oppressed by all white people, talking about white privilege 24/7: they encourage these mobs and then say nothing when someone is murdered.

  4. I think you missed the point. A mob of black youths slaughtered a white youth. The man they murdered was a young man, and he wasn't murdered by "people".
