You're right. I don't blame the chap - but tbh I don't think her reaction helped: all she had to do was just point out that the Daily Beat lied, maybe make a small comment about how disappointed she was that he believed it, and left it at that. P.S. - maybe this is just me....but I've always been a little wary of Candace Owens: I don't know why, I just always have been.

@whatsupdoc9833 What did Trump say? Even after watching this video we have no idea what he said, but I saw a long angry clip of her saying that he said something "very disrespectful". As for a very busy businessman and former, maybe future, president - way too busy to be calling a podcaster and youtube celeb.

I've been wary of her for a long time: I began to feel a bit bad about that, tbh, because she seemed to be doing a lot of good - but performances like that one remind me of why I've never really trusted her. She packed a lot of angry insults into that clip but didn't even reveal what Trump was supposed to have said.

Right. So what did he say? I'm not interested in hearing someone else's version of what they claim he said. Watching this video I still don't know what he said. I'm a fan of Trump, I'm a fan of your's (I've always been a little wary of Candace Owens but maybe that's just me). At any rate Trump has been betrayed by so many people he trusted that maybe he did believe what the Daily Beast said. Is so I think Miss Owens could have just said on her podcast "The DB lied and I'm disappointed you believed them". As for claims about what he said: I still have no idea what he's supposed to have said. Anyway....that's my 2 cent's worth.

@AutoHoax "May have" means nothing. Sure she "may have" but she also "may not have". "May have" is not an argument.

I'm glad to see other people are calling this out, now, too. I was also none the wiser about what Trump was supposed to have said, apart from "something very disrespectful".

At last. A comment from someone else who was thinking exactly the same thing I was. I also notice that neither Candace (nor Brandon, who I am a fan of) have even mentioned what Trump was supposed to have said. If there was a misunderstanding, fine - but this insult laden and angry rant on a public platform, followed by the words 'Trump should have called me" (!!) doesn't look good - but maybe I'm biased as I've always been very slightly wary of her, anyway.
