  1. In 1952 an author named Eustace Mullins wrote a book called 'Secrets of the federal reserve'. Soon afterwards J Edgar Hoover declared him a threat and he was surveilled and harassed by federal agents for the rest of his life. They even beat up his elderly father who died shortly after the attack.
