  1. General Milley himself never actually saw a single day's combat. He went straight from college into management positions and glided his way to the top. Never saw action himself. I didn't think it was even possible for such a person to become head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff: but it certainly explains a lot.

  6.  @williehodges7798  Look into it for yourself. And yes, it is ridiculous that a 'five-star general' has never seen combat: but hey - do your own research into his 'combat experience' - nothing's stopping you from looking into it for yourself....which, of course, you won't.
