  1. Varadkar is projecting. The Irish have patiently and quietly worked through every shock and squeeze that has been put on them by successive governments. The last time there was a riot in Dublin was 40 years ago: that's how peaceful and civilised they are. The stabbing of 2 women and 3 children was the final straw. Varadkar finally got the excuse he was hoping for to start shutting down free speech. The real shame is on him and the rest of Leinster House.
