  1. I've been following the conflict in Ukraine since 2014 and you're being lied to wholesale by the media. The conflict is between East and West Ukraine, not Russia and Ukraine and it has been fought almost entirely on East Ukraine. In 2014 the Ukraine military started attacking East Ukraine which is mainly ethnic Russian: these attacks led to massacres and a brief war began. The Minsk Peace agreement was signed but the military kept attacking East Ukraine. In February they began shelling the region and amassing on the border: this time East Ukraine had had enough: they mobilised and invited Russia in to help them push the Ukraine military back. Patrick Lancaster and Graham Phillips are two independent journalists who have been on the ground in the frontlines from the beginning: their channels are worth checking out if you want to know what's really going on.
