That's very true. Its coming to the point where the Irish have very little left to lose: and we all know what happened the last time they reached that point.

I agree. I've been going to the Algarve for nearly twenty years now and I spend my time swimming, sunbathing, smoking cigars and going for long walks around the old cobbled streets. When I go out to eat or drink its always in a Portuguese restaurant or pub. I can visit an English or Irish bar when I fly back home anytime. I was over there just a few weeks ago and hoping to get back again for a week in August. The place is heaven.

@L1623VP FFS - he's not saying that visitors should only be there to explore Spanish or Portuguese culture, he's simply saying he doesn't understand why they only go to the English pubs, restaurants etc as its almost like they haven't left England at all. I travel there regularly and I agree. He's not criticising them.

You had a go at him as if he was judging people, which he wasn't - I chimed in that I agreed with him - and now you're going crazy over it. We can respectfully agree to disagree here and leave it at that but, if not, I'm going to start mocking you.

Ireland's kindness has been exploited ever since that country ended up paying 42% of the entire European bailout package following the 2008 crash. Its always had its kindness taken advantage of by unscrupulous politicians and others.
