  1. TBH I take everything Varoufakis says with a grain of salt. His government sold Greece down the river to the WEF after grandstanding that they were going to stand up to Europe. The fact that he doesn't even seem to be embarrassed about this but continues to broadcast his expertise is astounding.

  3. Varoufakis is a leftist and that's where his loyalties lie - even, unfortunately, to the extent of smearing people who are not. Maybe he is genuinely stupid enough to believe that the AfD is fascist, but I don't think he is. He's playing partisan politics here and lying & smearing others in the process.

  4. True. Varoufakis likes to talk like an expert on everything. Don't forget that his government sold Greece down the river to the the EU despite pledging they would stand up to the EU. What followed was a crippling economic package for Greece. Despite this Varoufakis isn't even embarrassed but continues to lecture people on their own countries.

He may make some good points but don't forget that his government sold Greece down the river to the WEF after pledging they would stand up to Europe. I'll listen to him every now and again but I don't take him seriously. Good luck with your election results. No-one knows Germany better than the Germans.

Don't forget that his own party, his government, sold Greece down the river to the EU after pledging that they would stand up to the EU. The fact that he's not even embarrassed about this but continues to "advise" other people about their own countries is shocking.

  9. Make up your mind about what you actually believe in, Mr. Varoufakis. Don't smear ordinary Germans. I don't know who you actually speak for but I haven't forgotten that your party, your government, sold Greece down the river to the EU after pledging that you would stand up to the EU. Greece paid a very heavy price for that.
