I've been following that conflict since 2014, from the overthrow of the government, to the banning of the Russian language, the attacks on ethnic Russians that followed, leading to the massacre in Odessa and East Ukraine taking up arms to defend itself. The cruelty of the Ukraine army was doubtless, but even I find myself feeling sorry for them over the hell they created for themselves.
