  1. Sorry but my understanding is that none of them were invited, so they decided to spin it as a refusal to attend on the grounds of principle. If they had been invited they would have been over there like a shot, with even thicker layers of make-up on their faces.

  4. They weren't. In fact, as I understand it, none of Ireland's political class was invited so far. Sinn Fein is just twisting it to look like they refused to go on principle. I hope none of Ireland's disgraceful political class ends up being invited. The are ruining that country.

  5. We are - our political class isn't. At any rate Sinn fein weren't even invited in the first place. They're trying to save face by pretending they refuse to go on principle.
