I was beginning to despair of the comments thread here until I saw your comment: at least there are some people who have critical thinking here. I'm still astonished that so many people are willing to believe the same liars who told us that Iraq had WMDs. 1 million lives that lie cost - and yet people are swallowing the same dish again.

Absolutely right, it should be. Great point.

Exactly. And I can't fathom how so many people still choose to believe the same proven liars who pushed the Iraq WMD lie. I've been following the Ukraine conflict since 2014 and I despair of the lies that are being peddled about it by the usual suspects.

I literally cannot fathom how so many people are willing to believe the same liars who told us lr@q had WmDs. Literally the same people with the exact same template

True.

Exactly. I can't fathom how there are still people who even believe these proven liars, especially after the whole Iraq WMD fiasco.

Yeah, it's almost as good as Colin Powell's speech about Saddam Hussein's weapons of mass destruction. That lie cost 1 million lives, and still people believe these proven liars.
1
Exactly. And now these liars and mass murderers are out telling new lies about Ukraine and Russia.
1
Plus - they are lying through their teeth about Ukraine and Putin. I've been following that conflict since 2014 and this is just Iraq's WMDs all over again - and amazingly people are believing these proven liars.

Yep. This liar is a front man for the military industrial complex: they've been doing very well since the Iraq WMD lie and they still have a very big appetite.
1
Exactly. On top of that the public is being lied to (again). This has been going on since 2014 when the Ukraine govt was overthrown with the help of U.S./nato and a new regime was installed: the first thing they did was ban the Russian language and began attacking Russian speakers: from there they started attacking East Ukraine which is mainly ethnic Russian and that's when the massacres began. East Ukraine moved to defend itself: there was a short war and Putin urged the East Ukrainians to make peace. The MInsk agreement was signed but Ukraine forces carried on shelling and attacking East Ukraine despite numerous efforts by the Russians to stop the attacks diplomatically. No-one listened to them. In Feb this year the Ukraine army intensified shelling of East Ukraine and began amassing on the border: they were clearly getting ready to overrun the region. This time East Ukraine had had enough and asked Russia to come in and help push Kiev's forces back. This is what happened.
