  1. Yes, Shakespeare was a woman. When she was young, because of the misogyny of the day her father told her "William - I wish you were a boy". So she grew a beard but he still wouldn't accept her, so she ran away to the circus to join as the bearded lady act but because women weren't allowed to be bearded ladies she had to leave. Eventually she wrote 36 masterpieces but because nobody would read them if they knew she was a woman, she pretended to be a man. And the rest is history: the greatest writer of all time was a woman and they continue to cover this up.
