A police officer breaking the law? Not at all - he was just making it up as he goes along, like always.
1
Ah. he got his bot kicked.
1
The government is not being "firm" - they are enflaming the situation while labour are using the recent incidents as an excuse to try to force through measures that they had been hoping to bring in anyway. Meanwhile the gentlemen who attacked police at Manchester airport, breaking one WPC's nose, have not even been charged. I agree its a time for cooler heads - the government is not providing that or calming the situation - they are escalating it.
1
Its the new direction British justice has taken, the direction that you were making excuses for just a few weeks ago.
1
The officer is a criminal: it's as simple as that.
1
Everyone shows who they really are during a crisis. Its a pity you turned out to be such a disappointment.
1
@keithdavies1395 Probably so - or she may have turned it the other way round, to face herself - so guaranteeing that Nobody would want to look at it, not even a lawyer with a very strong stomach :D
1
@barbarakauppi9915 I saw some of those clips. And, yep, this is probably one of the biggest examples of the Streisand Effect I've ever seen. It serves them right.
1
@gringopig Exactly.
1
Exactly. Disgusting human being.
1
@aydy-rf9yl3qr2e Yes I saw that - someone else finally posted it: they touched each other shaking hands which was very different to what that nasty little CCP thug was alleging, when they suddenly turned nasty and made false accusations against him. Despicable behaviour.
1
Unfortunately he did choose every word carefully. This is the real two tier keir starmer. That's his real character: he's an authoritarian and a globalist.
1
Its not our society - its a bunch of tourists having no respect for the culture of the country they're visiting.
1
ALL the targets of these attacks (across Europe) in the last few weeks have been conservative or so-called "right wing". Broken up cement. Clear assault. Also - call me cynical but I doubt very much this was some lone guy with an attitude problem and I wouldn't be surprised if he had even been paid to do it.
1
@tomalex4806 Don't be too quick to defend the complete subversion of the rule of law just because it is currently being used against someone you hate: these rules were intended to be used against all of us - included you and your family and friends when they decide to widen their target base. Don't forget that.
1
Musk should ban the UK government from his platform.
1
@jonathanmonck-mason6715 Absolutely, I'm sure those worthless and corrupt police officers who are pursuing him will use that. Let's hope there are at least some sensible judges on the bench to throw this out for the witch hunt it is.
1
@Fishster So he's been arrested for boasting. That makes even less sense.
1
@benws8246 I haven't been run off the path by a motorist and I've seen very few of them blow traffic lights and then swear at the person they nearly knocked over. Nobody is expecting cyclists to be "saints", just to follow basic rules and be mindful of others - and your comment has just confirmed every single thing I wrote. Bad attitude out on the road, bad attitude at home, too.
1
@fredflintstone9963 They're all exactly the same as her: they picked her because she's a scumbag: birds of a feather.
1
I was wondering if I'm alone in being incredulous at your explanation of an insane, twisted, subverted and draconian legal system as if it's normal. Its not normal. People are being thrown in prison for words and the only thing you seem to discuss is the technicalities, which is surreal to me. I'm glad to see others are pointing out the same thing.
