Of course if the authorities had been doing their jobs in the first place (its illegal to block roads) instead of selectively enforcing the law, none of these confrontations would have happened. Two lives wouldn't have ended and their families' lives destroyed. This was disaster waiting to happen - which, of course, is probably what the authorities wanted.

@mizzury54 You're not very smart. I could ask you the same questions. I've seen numerous examples of protesters blocking roads all over America and the UK - and the police doing nothing about it. I think its relatively safe to assume, based on common sense, that the same happened here. If you haven't seen any of that, especially in the last 3 years, you've been living under a rock.
