  2. Exactly. No control whatsoever. I see a lot of these people going around in London with bull terriers and they do keep them as intimidation pets and they have no control over them.

  3.  @maxcaines3568  True. Its the owners that are the real problem. Well done on striking it in the face. The fact that the owner swore at you comes as no surprise at all, it is a certain type that goes around with these dogs. I remember once a few years ago seeing a young guy walking down the street with a pitbull, suddenly, without any warning it went for the walking stick of an old man, growled, bit it then carried on. Owner didn't even call it back or apologise to the old guy. I myself pointed it out to the owner and he explained that the stick freaked his dog out: tbh he didn't seem like a bad person in that case, but he is a dangerous owner.
