Whatever your thoughts on Ukraine: dowsing the ambassador of a country that lost 27 million people in the fight against the n*zis on this particular day is despicable.

@Tosse901 'Don't think so' isn't an argument: argue your point: that's a lot of people to lose so that we wouldn't have to live under the 3rd Reich.

@Tosse901 Unfortunately that's where you're being lied to. I've been following the conflict in Ukraine since 2014: in 2014 the elected govt was overthrown in a violent coup and replaced by the Right Sector with the help of the US State Dept. The government then banned the Russian language and a series of attacks against East Ukraine (which is mainly ethic Russian) began: these escalated into massacres and the 2014-16 war in Donbass East Ukraine began. A peace agreement was signed (largely on Putin's insistence) - but the Ukraine military carried on attacking East Ukraine. In February this year the Ukraine army intensified shelling on the region and began amassing again on the border: it was obvious what was coming next so East Ukraine mobilised and invited Russia in to help end this once and for all. Everything I have mentioned is a matter of public record - you are being manipulated and lied to by the same people who told us Iraq had weapons of mass destruction. That lie cost 1 million lives. Fool me once etc etc.

@Tosse901 Tell me where it's 'bs Russian propaganda' - point by point: tell me one single fact that I'm wrong about.

If you knew what was really going on in Ukraine you wouldn't say that: don't forget this is the same media and political class that kept telling us Iraq had weapons of mass destruction along with numerous other lies until we advocated bombing that country and slaughtering a million people. We found out afterwards they knew it was. a lie. They're doing it again.
