  1. Honour and courage. He's a coward. Firstly he was laughing at the joke. Then he saw his wife didn't think it was funny, so he made a calculation that he could criminally assault a man who is smaller and thinner than him and probably get away with it. The only people I've ever seen behave like that have all been cowards. Honour and courage lol.
