I really miss the days when I could trust the veracity of a claim made by our media. I doubly miss the days when I wouldn't wonder if he had annoyed his colleagues in Westminster and that this was their reply.

Yeah. I remember Julian Assange being hit with exactly the same accusations because the state didn't like his journalism work. Recently this MP spoke out against war crimes being perpetrated against the Palestinians. Amazing coincidence.

Exactly. In fact he spoke recently about the British government endorsing war crimes that are being perpetrated against the Palestinians.

@andyharvestedwards I'm afraid its you who is a little short on intelligence. I'm not a tory: I despise the tory government just as much as I despise labour and the lib dems. But you may want to expand your attention span to when Julian Assange was accused of exactly the same thing because of the footage of war crimes he released re: Iraq. Crispin Blunt accused the (tory) government this week of endorsing war crimes in Gaza: within days this accusation was levelled at him. Learn to think instead attempting to insult people who are brighter than you are.

@techheck3358 He was warning colleagues that he was going to go public way longer than 3 weeks ago. Anyway, let's wait and see what the courts say, or even if it's taken to court. Meanwhile I'll remain skeptical of the same politicians and media who told me Julian Assange rd two women, and that Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction. Two very big lies with very big consequences. Fool me once etc etc.

Remember Juilain Assange being hit with the same claims - all because of his journalism work. This Tory MP spoke up recently about war crimes being perpetrated against the people of Palestine. Amazing coincidence, same template.

@nathanaelsmith3553 I won't miss the tory government if they are voted out - but you're in for another nasty surprise if you think labour is going to be any better. The last 3 years, Covid and Ukraine should have proven they are all in lockstep.

Labour 25. By the way: Remember Juilain Assange being hit with the same claims - all because of his journalism work. This Tory MP spoke up recently about war crimes being perpetrated against the people of Palestine. Amazing coincidence, same template.

Character and integrity, eh? Remember the same charges were levelled against Julian Assange because of his journalism work? Also - he said recently he would pursue the government over war crimes if they continued to get entangled in foreign wars on behalf of the MIC - and suddenly he's accused of this. How coincidental.

@ArghansMordonMarghek True: there's a lot of deleting and muting going on. 'Rumble' is a pretty good platform and it doesn't have any of this hassle.

@stevenwallacebaker9169 Precisely: and its disturbing and dismaying that so many people are so quick to believe these slanders. Nobody is safe when the law (and now even the media) is being weaponised to not just silence, but destroy, people who criticise the government or any of their controllers that don't want to be criticised. The mainstream media are particularly despicable in all this.

@الاشاعرةأهلالسنةوالجماعة-ظ3ز Yes, I believe so.

@ArghansMordonMarghek Ah! Lol. You're right. Embarrassing typo.Thank you. I'll correct it.
1
@nathanaelsmith3553 Labour 25.
1
@ArghansMordonMarghek Very true.
1
@ArghansMordonMarghek Lol - to be honest with you I normally tear people a new one if they correct a typo of mine, but I could tell you were being genuine, so I took it in the same grace it was meant in.

@nathanaelsmith3553 Doesn't change my answer.

@nathanaelsmith3553 You should try actually reading and understanding what people are saying instead of concentrating on yourself all the time. I already said I despise the tory government but that sailed over your head. You made a very unfortunate, libellous remark about Crispin Blunt, so I mentioned the Labour 25, which I guess also sailed right over your head, too, lol.

@nathanaelsmith3553 "Pot kettle black". Amazing intellectual argument there. If you're not making assumptions about guilt then you've defeated your own argument. Westminster is a cesspool - and I take it that you haven't googled 'Labour 25' to see just how ingrained it is in the labour party, but labour seems to have more control over its party re: dissenting voices - and more sway over the media. I'll make this point for the last time: I DESPISE the tory cabinet, get that straight - but the only MPs who have stood up and spoken out about the tory party's overreach in the last 3 years (lockdowns, mandates, wars) have been Tory back benchers. The lib dems - nothing, labour - nothing.
1
@kevinward3088 True. I shake my head in dismay when I see how easily so many people are being fooled. Iraq WMDs, covid, lockdowns, giving billions to Ukraine while so many UK citizens are on the breadline, Labour and Lib Dems in lockstep all the way and people actually think a Labour govt will be an improvement.
1
@ArghansMordonMarghek Very true. The country is ruled by a crowd of inadequate social misfits in suits who nobody ever voted for.

@demeterontheinternet You're so far gone I don't even know where to start. Everyone but the most half-witted knows Assange was lynched. BTW the charges were levelled against him because the condom burst, so you may want to actually go back and remind yourself of the actual case, instead of coming back as a man. They ween't "doxxed" - they were named: and I guess if you decide to get involved in ruining a man's life, it comes with territory. BTW he did answer: he said he didn't rp them - in fact they even said he didn't rp them. I feel bad for you.
