So the Secret Service don't do sloped roofs anymore.....unless its to protect someone their director doesn't hate. A DEI hire with TDS - what could go wrong. The fact that she's not even embarrassed about that failure, or her excuses, speaks volumes.

She wasn't "holding" the knife: she attacked and tried to stab one girl before the officer told her to back up, then she attacked another girl while her male friend kicked the first girl on the head: she was just about to plunge the knife into the second girl despite numerous warnings from the officer. The second girl is alive now because the officer prevented that stabbing.

Van Jones is a nothing burger - with an extra sprinkling of cringe.
52
Their entire broadcast is pointless chatter.
36
True - he needs to be investigated and prosecuted.
29
It's a Tochka-U missile: the Ukraine military use those, not the Russian military.
21
I would very strongly advise you to do some research on what really happened over thee, starting with the violent overthrow of the elected government there with $5bn US State Dept money (they admit it themselves) then on the attacks by Ukraine against East Ukraine for 8 years which Russia tried diplomatically to stop. Then February when Kiev intensified shelling and amassed at the border getting ready to over run East Ukraine. This time the Russians had had enough. You're listening to the same people who told you Iraq had weapons of mass destruction. 1 million lives that lie cost, so they will lie about anything but still people believe them.
14
Yep - and every one of them was a direct hit on CNN: I don't think they were expecting this from him. I didn't even expect this from him tbh.
11
We aren't allowed to talk about? Lol - its all they've been talking about for the last 5+ years. Shheesh.
10
Lol, well said.

I remember seeing that clip many years ago and even then I was cheering him for tearing morgan a new one.
9
5 months later. I heard some very interesting things recently about Anderson Cooper's huge wage and who supplements it: and was just as interested to see who else holds financial stakes in CNN. Let's just say it explains a LOT.
9
Kudos to the officer. And yes, if that had been me I probably would have been distracted by the POS kicking the girl on the ground and may not have even seen the imminent stabbing. I hope the officer's dept supports him.
8
They have no conscience.

khodorkovsky was a corrupt oligarch who murdered journalists as he and the other oligarchs plundered that country before Putin threw them all out. That's why they hate him. I can't believe that so many people continue to believe the same liars that brought us the Iraq weapons of mass destruction lie that led to the slaughter of half a million people - but here we are, believing them all over again.
8
You can't de-escalate it as it had already gone past that stage: the girl in pink was literally milliseconds away from being murdered before the officer neutralised the threat.

I've been following the conflict in Ukraine since 2014 and you are not being told what's going on there. The conflict is between East and West Ukraine and it is being fought on East Ukrainian soil. In 2014 the elected government was overthrown and the newly installed government/military began attacking East Ukraine, which is mainly ethnic Russian. A brief war followed until the East until the Minsk peace agreement was signed. But the Ukraine military carried on attacking East Ukraine, despite numerous diplomatic efforts to stop this. In February the Ukraine army began intense shelling of the East again whilst troops amassed on the border: this time East Ukraine had had enough: they mobilised and asked Russia to help them push this assault back and end it once and for all. These are the facts. I would recommend Patrick Lancaster and Graham Phillip's channels both of whom have been on the frontlines on the ground since 2014: also the Grayzone and The Duran for analysis of what's going on.

He has powerful handlers.
6
In fact he had probably only half a second to decide. I hope his department will support him and I hope the justice system will show courage in this case.
5
Ooh! Nice one.
5
You left out the part where Kyle Rittenhouse said he supports the BLM movement. Why?
5
Very well put.

@bennieo5gs393 Hello, Bennie: just to let you know Aliyah Roberts' comment is a generated comment that's been appearing in a lot of threads about Ukraine and seems to be sent by multiple accounts. It wasn't directed at you persoanlly and I don't know what generates it - I've had exactly the same reply to a lot of my own comments, and all from different account names.

@janetlynham2989 Tell me what I said that isn't true. I don't watch Russian channels or look at Russian news. I follow the work of Independent journalists - none of whom are Russian by the way: Patrick Lancaster, Max Blumenthal, the Grayzone, the Duran and Max Clarke. So if you would tell me where I am speaking untruths please do. I care about all the people of Ukraine - and they are being used by people who don't care about them.

The truth is Christopher didn't know, any more than any of the rest of us know, what lies after death. All we have is our belief and our opinion, without proof - whether we have the humility to admit it or not. I agree with Hitchens on everything else - but never agreed with him on this.
4
That's the one.
4
You left out the part about khodorkovsky being a former oligarch who had journalists murdered and who plundered that country with the rest of the oligarchs from that era until Putin turned on them all and threw them out. You also left out the part where Putin released him from prison on humanitarian grounds on condition that he not cause any more trouble in Russia.
4
I've been following that conflict since 2014: you may notice that none of these news channels want to talk about the 8 years before Russia finally intervened. Russia didn't invade: they were invited in by East Ukraine after 8 years of attacks and shelling from Kiev's forces from the West. You're listening to the same people who told you Iraq had WMDs. If you really knew what is going on there, and what has been going on there, you'd be shocked.
4
Lol!

khodorkovsky was a corrupt oligarch who murdered journalists as he and the other oligarchs plundered that country before Putin threw them all out. That's why they all hate him. I can't believe that so many people continue to believe the same liars that brought us the Iraq weapons of mass destruction lie that led to the slaughter of half a million people - but here we are, believing them all over again.

Typical CNN - anyone outside their frame of thinking is a radical.
3
@Ainnekainnek Pfizer and the FDA have just been forced by a Federal Judge to release their files on side effects - and there is a list of over 1000 side effects and adverse reactions with this jab. Looks like the unjabbed won't be amongst the thinning of the herd.
3
After the way the Democrats treated him and tried to frame him into serving a 45 year prison sentence, who could blame him?
3
1 year later. I heard some very interesting things recently about Anderson Cooper's huge wage and who supplements it: and was just as interested to see who else holds financial stakes in CNN. Let's just say it explains a LOT.
3
I would highly recommend Patrick Lancaster's channel. An independent journalist who has been on the frontlines, on the ground since 2014 reporting what is really happening there.
3
Back to the old smear, slander and attack again CNN? Couldn't even behave yourself for a full week after the attempted assassination carried out by someone who listened to your smears, slanders and attacks.
3
Just because you think they are doesn't mean they are, either.
3
Don't you think you could have done better than interview a former oligarch who used to have journalists murdered when he and his friends controlled Russia?
3
Vaccine injured man says that yu too should injure yourself. Thanks, genius, but I think I'll give it a miss. Have you considered therapy?
3
And he never intended to take it, either. What conclusion can we come away with from that? I just don't know....I'll have to think....
3
Exactly.
3
She won't learn anything. She doesn't know any better.
3
@kevin10000 It's true they were one country, but that didn't stop the Ukraine military from attacking the East which is what caused this whole conflict in the first place. I'd be interested in knowing more specifics about your claim that the Russians and DPR have been killing ethnic Russian speakers. As for nato's involvement: you'd need to be blind not to see their huge involvement in all this: a French journalist came back from Azovstal recently and reported that American commanders are in charge there.
3
Exactly. But CNN would have such an allergic reaction to telling the truth that they wouldn't be able to.
3
This is not as simple as everyone is being led to believe. In 2014 the elected government of Ukraine was overthrown (with $5bn of US tax payers money) by the State Dept and Victorian Nuland and a new, far more NATO friendly government was installed (not elected): shortly afterwards they began attacking mainly ethnic Russian East Ukraine: the war that followed between East and West Ukraine was so bloody that the president was voted out and a new government elected. However the attacks on East Ukraine continued despite numerous diplomatic efforts: the Ukraine army began intensive shelling of East Ukraine 2 weeks ago and appeared to be preparing for an offensive: this time the East Ukrainians and Russians had had enough and they took action. Its very saddening that so many people are happy to believe the same lies brought to us by the same liars who sold us saddam hussein's weapons of mass destruction. Half a million lives that lie cost, but people still believe these liars.
3
@jammin1881 Yep. But I think there will be justice. I can see a day when none of the people who were involved in this will be able to show their faces in public without being shamed. There may be lawsuits coming, too.
3
Joe devastated that it didn't succeed.
3
He was hoping to be reporting on Trump's funeral today.
2
Exactly. You are absolutely right. You did it legally, the right way. Good luck in the future and congratulations.
2
CNN cut out the part in the interview where Roger Waters talked about the Minsk agreement and the constant attacks on East Ukraine by the Ukraine military that caused the deaths of 14,000 people from 2014 to 2022 while Russia tried every diplomatic avenue it could to stop these attacks. I don't know whey you even interviewed this guy if you were going to cut out what he said.
