There are lots of Filipinos living in Ireland. They are well regarded, they work hard and are very pleasant to deal with. The problem is not them - its the hordes of people coming in from Arab states who are causing chaos everywhere.

@keifer7813 It means not living apart as a separate society from the host country. If your implication is that he was making a racist remark, stick it in your pipe and smoke it. The Filipinos are very well regarded in Ireland specifically because they don't cause problems (crime) and have blended in so well. Your need to look on it as racism is getting very, very, Very old.

Thank you for deleting my comment, ANC24/7, where I explained that the Filipinos have always been welcome and very well regarded in Ireland and Northern Ireland. It is another demographic from a different part of the world that is the problem, the same demographic that has even caused huge problems in the Philippines. I don't know why that family was targeted. Probably by some local thugs who don't know any better.

@tonytuffers I can only speak for myself. I don't know why that family were targetted and by whom. The Filipinos are very highly regarded and respected in Ireland. They work hard and pay taxes and we've never had problems with them. The problem is in the hordes of people coming in from Arabs countries and causing absolute chaos wherever they are. It may be that this family was targeted by just a small group of thugs who don't know any better and who will attack anyone.
