The only examples I can think of in which women were competent fighters were in the Russian army during WW2 and the Viet Cong in Vietnam war. Conscripting women into the Ukraine army to fight will be even more disastrous than conscripting their men - but I'm sure plenty of western commentators who don't have to fight there will disagree with me.
